v0.3.1 - QOL Improvements & More Crafting


This update is about making your life easier, I made several convenient quality-of-life features like equipment loadouts and inventory management, along with a new attribute to make progression more interesting.

Automatic Loadouts

  • Each skill now has its own independent equipment and consumable slots. 
  • The game will automatically switch to the correct loadout based on the type of skill you are using.

Inventory Management

  • Search: You can now type an item's name to find it quickly.
  • Sort: Arrange your items by name or rarity, in either ascending or descending order.
  • Filter: Show only the items you want to see by filtering for resources, equipment, or consumables.

Better Embeds

  • Skill Embeds: You can now embed your skills in chat! Just hold Ctrl and left-click a skill's name to share your level with others.
  • Improved Item Embeds: Hovering over an embedded item in chat will now trigger the full item info window, just like in your inventory.

New Stat: Power Attribute

In addition to skill level, higher-level actions will now also have a Power requirement.

  • This stat mainly comes from equipping better tools.
  • As a bonus, for every point of Power you have above an action's requirement, you will gain +1 to your maximum potential item quantity for that action!

New Content

To go along with the new Power attribute, we've added more things to craft and do.

  • New Copper, Iron, Gold, and Diamond equipment tools have been added to Smithing.
  • A new level 80 action has been added for both Woodcutting and Mining.
  • A new level 40 action has been added for Fishing.

Coming Next

The next patch shall be the last one for the v0.3 series, and it will focus on rounding out the new systems and preparing for the future.

  • More foods and dedicated food slots.
  • A new "Unlocking" skill (for loot boxes!).
  • More Smithing recipes and equipment slots for the upcoming combat system.
